One choice can change everything.
When Cassie agrees to go on a date with her gorgeous new neighbor, she doesn’t expect the night to end with a glimpse into eternity. Within twenty-four hours she discovers not only are young women being brutally murdered around her beloved town, but an ancient evil is using her new neighbor like a puppet to do the killing. Knowing the police won’t believe her without solid proof, she makes it her mission to find the evidence they need. Add to that how her cat has started talking to her, plus she's seeing ghosts that want her help, and it’s no surprise that she’s beginning to question her sanity. Will she be able to help the living and the dead and not end up another victim? She'll need to learn fast if she wants to survive in one piece.
This is the first book in the New Sight Series - a paranormal mystery series about a young woman whose eyes are opened to the hidden world around her and her compulsion to help the dead seek answers and justice.
My Review: Hero and a sidekick team, and these two are great together! Cassie and Allie, together they are amazing. Oh and Allie is a cat! Gotta say, animals are always an awesome sidekick. My dogs would so be my awesome sidekicks. My cat is more on my husbands side, but that's fine, I do like dogs better :)
Okay so, it all happened after Cassie went on a date with Scott. He looks good and everything, but he ended up being not a good guy. He was such a pig, so just because a guy is cute, doesn't mean anything if hes a total pig. So when Cassie gets home, she tells Allie about it.
So uh things take a turn that Cassie wasn't expecting. Allie and her can talk and so their bond will be even stronger. Besides who wouldnt want to talk to animals?! Oh and she can see ghosts, sense evil and a bunch of weird things. Cassie's sanity is perfectly there, even if she is questioning that. Why her? And how can she help? Well she will need to hurry and help both sides before she ends up a victim.
I loved Cassie and Allie. The pace of the book was perfect. Details on point and it was just on the edge of your seat reading! Really loved it and so worth the read!
