From award-winning novelist, Beth Barany, comes another magical tale of romance and adventure -- a sweet, Hallmark-like tale.

What if what you wanted got in the way of your destiny?

French MBA grad Lili Grenault needs to succeed at her last pitch meeting to fund her international green tech business. But her grandmother tells her to drop everything, find her one true love, and embrace her magical legacy by Beltane, in one week, or chaos and failure in her life will ensue.

San Francisco investor Brett Barnaby wants to find his great-grandfather's gravesite in Amiens, France, one of the primary battle sites of World War I. Family legend says that purpose, greater mission, and perhaps even untold riches, will be unlocked when he finds that grave. But his search in Amiens brings up fear, anger, and dire warnings about some wild Green Man. He turns to local Lily Grenault for help.

Can these two independent freethinkers work together to prevent chaos from triumphing and find love in time in the labyrinth of roses?

My Review: Love reading books by Beth. She has a way with words!

So first book, Sarah and Josh are great characters. They both get stuck in the tunnels under Paris. And there is also talk of a dragon. But how did they end up here?

Well Sarah is loaded up in work and wants some change. So off to Paris she goes! Though it doesn't go so well for her. Then add in the dreams and getting lost in the tunnels and you could say she isn't having the best time right now.

Then Josh isn't have such a great time either. Hes gotta wok on saving his company. Then he is also in the tunnels. He's been down for  a while, so how can he convince himself to be happy again? But then he would also have to convince Sarah as well. Together they may just work. Once everything else is taken care of as well.

And the last book. Lili and Brett. Another great pair. So it seems destiny is playing a part in this book. Destiny is such a weird and tricky thing.

So Lili is doing her thing, working on getting a teach business that's green. She really wants this to happen. But apparently she should give up. Find a guy and fall in love. Like its that easy, when its really not. Well not always at least. If she fails, her career is not going to look so good. So she better kick it into gear.

Then Brett comes along. Looking for help to finding a grave. Where if he finds it, great things should come along. Well it's not looking like that right away. So he'l have to team up with Lili. They both need to work on some place to keep peace. Or they are gonna be screwed.

Both books were done so well. I loved the writing, details, the setting. It all went together nicely. Beth is an author to keep an eye on.
